Training and Clinical Experience
I am currently a staff therapist in Alameda County Medical Center's intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program.  I provide individual and group therapy to individuals with severe/chronic psychiatric problems.

Postdoctoral Residency:
Kaiser Permanente Deptartment of Psychiatry, Martinez, CA

Durring my residency I co-founded and facilitated a Trauma Stabilization group to support Kaiser members experiencing symptoms of PTSD and complex trauma.  I also provided treatment to  children, teens and adults coping with depression, anxiety, panic, relationship problems, addictions, severe and chronic mental health conditions, medical problems, and bereavement.

Predoctoral Internship:
University of California, San Francisco, Division of Psychosocial Medicine, SF General Hospital and the Stimulent Treatment Outpatient Program

I completed an internship at UCSF's Psychosocial Medicine Clinic at the San Francisco General Hosptal.  There I recieved training in behavioral health and in the treatment of addictions and trauma, including a year of training provided by faculty from UCSF's Trauma Recovery Center.  While at UCSF I treated adults who had experienced interpersonal violence and were also coping with an array of mental health and/or medical conditions.  I also spent a year at UCSF's Stimulant Treatment Outpatient Program providing individual and group treatment to individuals with stimulent drug addictions and co-occuring mental health conditions.

Additional clinical experiences include: therapeutic support of children, teens, and adults experiencing loss and bereavement,  provision of school-based play therapy to elementary students, day treatment services for adults with chronic mental health conditions, and psychotherapy with college students, members of the GLBT community, and with individuals impacted by sexual assault.

I have also been a volunteer Parent Educator for Kids' Turn, a Bay Area community agency providing support to families navigating divorce or separation.

In addition to these clinical experiences, I also bring to my theraputic work experience with adjunctive wellness practices such as yoga, mindfulness practices and somatic psychotherapy.
