My approach to treatment is active, empathic, deeply respectful, and very collaborative. I will work with you in a creative, integrative manner, weaving together empirically supported intervention strategies from a variety of psychotherapeutic orientations in order to best address your or your child's specific needs. Additionally, I will provide you or your child with activities to engage in between sessions as a way to further the benefits of our work together. I hold the perspective that maintaining key relationships is the primary human motivation, and that many dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors are derived of attempts to preserve essential attachments. Though our focus will be primarily on current experiences, we will explore past events in order to appreciate and address the influence they may continue to exert in the present. Most importantly, supporting you or your child to recognize and grow areas of strength will be a fundamental component of our work together.

Scheduling Frequency of sessions is determined on an as needed basis and may be weekly, biweekly or monthly. My goal is to support you or your child in developing capacities, skills, and motivation to engage fully and autonomously in life.
